I have been looking into go a few times over the years. I don't remember when I first met go, but I know I was turned away by the percieved complexity and uncertainity of scoring (determining who won, and when a game was supposed to end). And, I knew nobody else who knew go and would've been able to show me the ropes.
Last year, I really picked it up, and have been playing sporadically since then and have been infecting a few friends along the way :-)
